With growth accelerating and new markets opening, Empowered Startups is hiring an Account Executive to engage with prospective clients who are exploring major life decisions. The opportunity? To be the trusted first point of contact for globally mobile, entrepreneurs – guiding them through a meaningful, high-value engagement journey rooted in credibility, trust, and empathy.

This is a critical hire. The Account Executive will be instrumental in driving new business growth by building trust, identifying client needs, and guiding them toward high-impact solutions. It’s a fit for someone who blends emotional intelligence with commercial acumen, and who’s energized by helping people take bold, confident steps forward.

The Role at a Glance

This isn’t a grind-it-out BDR job. It’s not a transactional SaaS sale. And it’s not about pushing product to cold leads. This is a relationship-first, engagement role – ideal for someone who is mature, thoughtful, and persuasive without being pushy. You’ll be speaking with individuals making significant life choices, often involving immigration, investment, and entrepreneurship. It requires clarity, warmth, discretion, and the ability to hold space for complex motivations while also helping individuals navigate toward informed, confident decisions. 

As part of this role, you’ll work with individuals who come to the organization directly, supported by well-defined systems, templates, and CRM tools. You’ll guide them through a consultative, multi-step journey, in close collaboration with the intake team responsible for eligibility assessments and final approvals.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead Engagement & Relationship-Building
    You’ll respond to inbound prospects with empathy, curiosity, and clarity. Your job is to listen, guide, educate, and build trust.
  • Sales Execution & Pipeline Management
    You’ll manage a structured funnel—discovery calls, Q&A, and handoffs to the intake team. All activity is tracked through the company’s CRM.
  • Revenue Delivery
    You’ll be responsible for securing commitments and achieving meeting quarterly performance milestones through high conversion, not high volume.
  • Collaboration & Market Insight
    You’ll work closely with the leadership and intake teams, sharing insights to help refine the offering and improve outcomes.

Who This Role Is Built For

This role is ideal for someone with experience in high-trust, consultative client engagement—often found in fields such as executive search, real estate development, higher education recruitment, or financial advisory. You don’t need decades of experience, but you do need sound judgment: knowing when to step in, when to hold back, and how to support people through unfamiliar decisions with steadiness and care.

The Essentials

  • Background: You’ve worked in a consultative, client-facing role where trust, judgment, and follow-through mattered more than volume or hard selling.
  • Strengths: You bring exceptional communication skills, emotional intelligence, and comfort with CRM tools. You’re proactive, self-directed, and grounded.
  • Location: Based in the Sea-to-Sky Corridor, either in Vancouver, Whistler, or Squamish.
  • Compensation: $80,000 base salary + generous quarterly commissions tied to high-conversion outcomes.
