PRPA is responsible for the overall planning, development, marketing, and management of the commercial port facilities within the Port of Prince Rupert. Reporting to the Vice-President, Commercial & Regulatory Affairs, the Director, Regulatory Compliance is responsible for providing leadership and strategic regulatory oversight for PRPA and third party projects, ensuring that the applicable requirements and standards are met and all conditions are adhered to, and for the development and implementation of programs and processes.

PRPA is responsible for the overall planning, development, marketing, and management of the commercial port facilities within the Port of Prince Rupert. Reporting directly to the VP, Finance, the Director, Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the Port including general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll, budgeting and treasury. The role oversees the organization’s financial controls and provides leadership to the annual audit reporting into the Audit Committee. 

The Malahat Skywalk is an exciting and rapidly growing tourism attraction located on stunning Vancouver Island with a mission to make nature accessible and provide unforgettable experiences for people of all backgrounds. This dynamic and visionary position reports directly to the General Manager (GM) and as a key member of the senior management team, is involved in strategic planning, driving marketing initiatives, and promoting their brand identity. This position is located on Southern Vancouver island and requires fairly consistent site visits. Living in or around the area is necessary. Candidates who are open to relocation will be considered.

PRPA is responsible for the overall planning, development, marketing, and management of the commercial port facilities within the Port of Prince Rupert. The Harbour Master maintains safe, orderly and efficient marine operations through adherence to prescribed orders and standards, and conventional marine operating procedures. The incumbent ensures the smooth and efficient turn-around of all vessels calling on the Port by close co-ordination with shipping agents, terminal operators, Pacific Pilotage Authority, BC Coast Pilots, and local agencies. The Harbour Master is responsible for all the waters of Prince Rupert Harbour.
