The Position 

Senior Manager, Operations 

As a proactive and process-oriented Senior Manager, Operations the role will spearhead the internal operations of a growing firm. This role will be instrumental in easing the workload of the owner, ensuring smooth daily operations, and driving a positive office culture.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting
    • Manage all bookkeeping activities using Quickbooks in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Eventually, create, analyze and present insightful financial reports to support decision-making.
  • Payroll Management
    • Administer and oversee the Firm’s payroll activities. 
  • Office Communication and Support
    • Serve as the primary contact for employees; manage and address queries, concerns and announcements.
    • Coordinate, anticipate and facilitate communication of behalf of the owner.
    • Handle appointment scheduling with clients and maintain an organized calendar for the owner.
  • Office Culture and Operational Efficiency
    • Drive initiatives to foster a positive office culture.
    • Identify areas of operational improvement and develop strategies for enhancement.
  • Technology Oversight
    • Ensure that the Firm is using appropriate technologies to optimize office efficiency and productivity.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in operations, office management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks and other financial software.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive approach with strong initiative.
  • Comfortable with numbers and data analysis.
  • Quick learner, adaptive to changing business needs.
  • Enjoys a support role while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the Firm.
